Handbook
Welcome to the TeamSBC handbook. This is a guide and reference for users, administrators, and developers working with TeamSBC Linux. Whether you are preparing your first installation, maintaining an existing device, or exploring how the distribution is built, the handbook is here to help you understand the steps involved and the choices available to you.
You can read it from the beginning or go straight to the chapter that covers your task. The intended audience page explains who the handbook is written for and what familiarity it assumes.
Finding Your Way Around
If you are new to TeamSBC, start with the introduction and read about the variants before choosing an image. The installation and provisioning chapters then guide you through preparing your device for use.
Once your system is running, the maintenance chapters cover everyday tasks such as updating, installing applications, managing users, and configuring networking. Follow the instructions for your chosen variant: Lhotse or Makalu. Some chapters are still being written as the project develops.
For changes you want to include in your own images, see Build Your Own. The development chapters describe the project's packages, artifacts, build infrastructure, and testing.
